Beverly Rubik
Bio
Dr. Beverly Rubik has had a life-long interest in frontier science and medicine, and she is internationally renowned for her pioneering work. She earned her Ph.D. in biophysics at University of California, Berkeley, and has published over 90 scientific papers and 2 books. From 1988-1995, Dr. Rubik was director of the Center for Frontier Sciences at Temple University where she explored the science underlying alternative and complementary medicine. From 1992-1997, she was one of 18 Congressionally-appointed members of the Program Advisory Board to the Office of Alternative Medicine at the US National Institutes of Health (NIH), the precursor of the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health. In 1996, Dr. Rubik founded Institute for Frontier Science (IFS), a nonprofit laboratory in Emeryville, California. Dr. Rubik serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Integrative and Complementary Medicine and Frontiers in Public Health. She is an adjunct faculty member in integrative health at Saybrook University. Together with Harry Jabs, she has conducted research on novel sensors for components of the human energy field (biofield) including measuring biophotons. Her research interests include the biofield, frontiers of water science, energy medicine, and the adverse health effects of wireless communication radiation.
